Longest Distance Cycled: I have ridden multiple Double Centuries but the longest one thanks to getting lost was 218 miles. in 2005 I completed the California Triple Crown series, finishing at least three 200 mile, one day rides in Northern California.
Career: I am currently an Audit Manager for the State of Nevada Gaming control Board.
Why Did You Join?:
I first became aware of Ride for Hope in 2009. Our church in Reno hosted the first days destination point, in the inaugural Ride for Hope. I had been riding for many years and volunteered to help with the outreach in the city park in support of the team’s effort in Reno. I was unable to ride in 2011 and am thrilled to participate this year.
I am convinced that God want us to use our talents for his purpose. Not that I am a talented rider but God has given me the gift of physical endurance. I believe that God is using Christ’s Hope to reach children in need of protection, medical and physical support, More impotently they are providing a sure Hope in our redeemer and provider of eternal life to these children, their parents, and family’s, desperate for a savior. Therefore, I am privileged to join, along with fellow riders and crew, God’s work, with Ride for Hope and Christ Hope in the lives children.
